Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every rental agreement for a storage unit at Super Storage and to the use of the website www.superstorage.be.
This document is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Who we are
Super Storage is a trade name of Fastgoed BV, with registered office at Millerdries 7a, 3770 Riemst, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 0628.981.850, referred to below as "Super Storage", "we" or "us". The storage facility itself is located at Prinsenweg 59, 3700 Tongeren.
You can reach us at info@superstorage.be.
2. Application of these terms
These terms apply, in a legally binding manner, to:
- every rental agreement for a storage unit concluded with Super Storage;
- the use of the website www.superstorage.be and the online booking system (together "the website");
- all other related agreements or commitments with Super Storage.
In these terms, "the tenant" or "you" means the natural or legal person renting a storage unit or using the website. We ask that you read these terms carefully.
3. The agreement
- The rental agreement comes into effect once the booking and the first payment have been completed through the online booking system.
- The tenant receives a personal access code for the building and for the rented storage unit.
- The rental runs on a month-to-month basis and is automatically renewed, unless cancelled in time as described below.
4. Price and payment
- The rental price is the price that applied at the time of booking, as shown in the booking system.
- Payment is made monthly by direct debit. On an initial booking, the first month is paid online immediately.
- If a payment fails, access to the storage unit may be temporarily suspended until the payment is settled.
5. Cancellation
The tenant can cancel by email, at the latest before the end of the current term or month. If cancellation is late or missing, the rental is automatically renewed. The storage unit must be handed back empty and swept clean.
6. What may and may not be stored
It is not permitted to store flammable, explosive, perishable, living or illegal goods. In the event of a breach, Super Storage may refuse access and terminate the agreement.
7. Liability and insurance
The tenant remains responsible for insuring the goods stored.
8. Access and safety
Storage units are accessible with a personal code, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Super Storage may temporarily restrict access for maintenance or in the event of a safety risk, giving advance notice wherever possible.
9. Use of the website
The website and the services we offer may only be used for the purpose for which they are intended, in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that your use does not violate any laws or the rights of third parties.
Unless stated otherwise, all content on the website is the property of Super Storage or its licensors. We do our best to ensure that this content does not infringe legislation or the rights of third parties, but cannot always guarantee this. If you notice a problem, please let us know using the contact details above.
The website may lead you to external third-party sources, such as the online booking system or map services. Super Storage has no control over these and is not liable for their content or availability. The terms of the relevant third party apply to those sources.
It is not permitted to reproduce, copy, sell, resell or commercially exploit the website or our services, in whole or in part, without our prior express written consent.
10. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the website, such as copyrights, trademark rights and design rights, belong to Super Storage or its licensors. The name and logo "Super Storage", as well as all other trademarks, trade names, images and logos on the website, remain their exclusive property and are protected by applicable legislation and international treaties.
11. Interruption of the online service
Super Storage may temporarily interrupt the website or the online booking system for maintenance, updates or other changes, and will inform you appropriately. Within the limits of the law, we may also suspend or discontinue the online service, while respecting your statutory rights. The website may also be unavailable due to force majeure, such as outages or power failures.
12. Changes
Super Storage may amend these terms and will inform you appropriately. The version that applied at the time of booking remains valid for the current rental period. An amended version only applies from the rental period following the notification. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel the rental agreement as described in article 5. Previous versions of these terms are available on request.
13. Transfer
Super Storage may transfer its rights and obligations under these terms to a third party, with due regard for your legitimate interests. The rules on changes in article 12 apply accordingly. The tenant may not transfer their rights or obligations, nor sublet the storage unit, without Super Storage's prior written consent.
14. Complaints, governing law and competent court
You can send complaints to info@superstorage.be. These terms and all agreements with Super Storage are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Limburg, without prejudice to mandatory provisions giving a tenant who is a consumer the right to turn to the court of their place of residence.
15. Final provisions
If Super Storage does not invoke a right or provision of these terms, this does not mean we waive it. Should any provision of these terms be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain fully in force.
